Caitlin has been part of The TaxForce team for more than a decade and last year became a partner. She loves working closely with clients to build plans that support them today and continue to make sense five, ten, or even more years down the road. Helping people prepare for tax needs, retirement, estate planning, or long-term goals and watching those plans come to life is one of the most rewarding parts of her work. Caitlin believes tax and accounting should feel approachable, not overwhelming. Her philosophy centers on a holistic approach: collaborating with clients and their advisors, explaining things clearly, and taking the time to ensure every plan is fully understood. Outside the office, Caitlin loves spending time with her family, walking the dog, going to the gym, and focusing on health and wellness. Being present with her family is her biggest priority and the way she recharges for the work she’s passionate about.

Meet our Senior Staff Accountant, Develin McAstocker!
Develin finds real fulfillment in helping clients through challenging situations, whether they’re behind on their taxes or need support organizing their books. He enjoys working through complex problems and describes his work as a puzzle, one he’s always satisfied to see come together. Outside the office, Dev enjoys spending time with his girlfriend, whether they’re going out for dinner, watching their favourite shows, or playing games together.

Meet our Staff Accountant, Taylor Paiva!
Taylor spends much of her time reconciling accounts, organizing financial statements, and preparing tax returns so they can build on clean and accurate numbers. She is sharing how much she’s grown since joining The TaxForce, especially learning to work with real client data, including “shoebox of receipts” situations, and turning it into a clean, finished product. Those experiences have strengthened her problem-solving skills. Outside of work, she loves staying active. In the warmer months, she enjoys long outdoor walks, and during the colder months you’ll usually find her at the gym. Lately, she’s also been enjoying going to the movies as a way to disconnect and relax for a couple of hours.
